Application Forms:
Durco/Flowserve process pumps are widely recognized in the chemical and related process industries for
engineering design, materials expertise and ability to handle tough pumping applications. Durco
pumps are available in a wide range of metal alloys (many of which are proprietary to Flowserve), and
in engineered plastic that are resistant to chemical corrosion.
The engineered design of the Durco process pumps includes several unique features that improve
performance and reduce operating costs. These features include an adjustable reverse vane impeller,
proprietary seal chamber design, robust power end, and true back pullout construction. Design
configurations include numerous pre-engineered options of sealed and seal-less pumps in alloys and
non-metallic materials to ANSI, ISO and other recognised standards. This versatile product is
available in specialty versions, including magnetic drive, low-flow, self priming, and recessed
impeller designs.
Durco process pumps have performed successfully in hundreds of thousands of applications involving
corrosive and toxic substances in plants throughout the world. Based on this experience, Flowserve has
developed selection tools for Durco process pumps that enable its engineers to recommend the most
suitable mechanical arrangements, materials and accessories to achieve the desired hydraulic
performance, service life and reliability.
